چکیده

Spectroscop ic studies of laser -induced p lasm a from a high -temperature superconducting mater ial, v iz., YBa2Cu 3O7 (YBCO), have been carried out. Electron temperature and electron density measurements were made from spectral data. The Stark broadening of emission lin es was used to determ ine the electron density, an d the ratio of line in tensities was exploited for the determ ination of electron temperature. An in itial electron temperature of 2.35 eV and electron density of 2.5 3 10 cm 2 3 were observed. The dependence on electron temperature and density on different exper imental parameters such as distance from the target, delay time after the in itiation of the plasm a, and laser irrad iance is also discussed in d etail.

Self-Consistent Analysis of Barrier Characterization Effects on Quantum Well Laser Internal Performance

In this paper, a numerical study of barrier characterization effects on the high-temperature internal performance of an InGaAsP multi-quantum well laser is presented. The softwareused for this purpose self-consistently combines the three-dimensional simulation of carrier transports, self-heating, and optical waveguiding. The laser model calculates all relevant physical mechanisms, including the...

Two-wavelength beam deflection technique for electron density measurements in laser-produced plasmas.

We describe the use of a two-wavelength beam deflection technique in the measurement of electron density and expansion velocity in a laser-produced plasma. Beam deflection measurements are made with a spatial resolution of 250 microm, temporal resolution of 25 ns, and a dynamic range of 1000. Several techniques for determining the spatial and temporal variation of the electron density from beam...

مشخصه‌یابی و مقایسه ضرایب پلاسمای لیزری با روش ردیاب لانگمیر در فشارهای پایین اتمسفر

In this paper, the electron temperature and ion density of laser-produced plasma in nanosecond regime in different pressure of ambient gas have been studied by using single Langmuir probe. Using the current-voltage characteristics curve of probe, the value of electron temperature in different pressure (range of 10-5×10-5 mbar) is in the range of 2-29 eV and also the ion density estimated about ...

Effective theory of high-temperature superconductors.

The field theory of a fluctuating d-wave superconductor is constructed and proposed as an effective description of superconducting cuprates at low energies. The theory is used to resolve a puzzle posed by recent experiments on superfluid density in severely underdoped YBa2(Cu3)O(6+x). In particular, the overall temperature dependence of the superfluid density at low dopings is argued to be desc...

Study of laser ablation using nano-second laser pulses

In this paper, the laser ablation process based on the irradiation of nanosecond pulsed lasers on a copper target surface in the presence of Helium gas is studied. The dynamical behaviors of the generated plasma in the helium gas and evaporated copper at the atmospheric pressure are examined using a laser pulse, laser wavelength of and intensity of 7×1010W/cm2. A one-dimensional thermal model ...
